The ITU Rover Team consists of 64 students studying at ITU, as a part of the robotics club working for development of robots in different fields. The team has been developing rovers since 2016. The team has undergraduate students from nearly every department in the university. The team consists of five sub-teams managed by a team captain and five sub-team leaders. The ITU Rover team has been participating in the URC competition since 2016. In 2018 and 2021, we have participated in the ERC as well. Additionally, we have participated in an online hackathon in 2020, International Mars Hackathon, in which we came second. We have won the “Science Special Award ” at the URC competition in 2018, which was given for the first time in the history of the competition. In 2021, we came 2nd in the general ranking of ERC competition and we got the special award in the maintenance task.
