Beyond Orbit is a voluntary, not for profit organisation that was formed with the sole purpose of advancing the space sector in Greece. Its main focus is to provide the opportunity to university students and young professionals to get involved in space-related projects.
The first project of Beyond Orbit is Beyond Robotics, and it aspires to develop the 1st Greek rover to participate in the European Rover Challenge. The project began its development in September of 2021.
Beyond Robotics consists of the Operations Team, 10 skillful and determined university students and young professionals that focus on public relations and fundraising and of the Engineering Team, 55 ambitious engineering students and graduates with multidisciplinary backgrounds working towards one goal: the design and assembly of the rover.
