IYTE Cengaver Rover team started its activities in Izmir Turkey in 2022. The team includes 35 members from 3 different faculties and 15 departments. The team works with IZTECH Mechanical Engineering Professor Gökhan Kiper as a consultant. The team initially had aimed to work on a Solar Rover project, but later decided to participate in international Mars Rover competitions. Due to lack of funding, the team turned to local international Rover Challenge ARC’23 in their first years and made it to the finals. After their first challange, team focused on their new rover design and find new sponsorships. Team settled with Mecelac, Framo Morat, Tenda, Cevher, Kozanoğlu Automotive for the sponsorship for 2024.
