UPC Space Program is a students association that joins four main space related projects: Ares – Rockets, Atlas – Drones, Horus – Nanosatelites and GRASS – robotics. The GRound Autonomous Student Station (GRASS) has as its objective to get students acquainted to space robotics through the design and development of an autonomous rover with features such as terrain recognition, sample retrieving, and obstacle evasion and movement. Our desire is to be a platform for students to learn and divulge science and technology among the common public.
