Hailing from Izmir, the historic home of the ancient astronomer Theon of Smyrna, Theon Rover is a multidisciplinary team of 19 passionate young individuals from various engineering branches. United by a profound interest in space and technology, our primary goal is twofold: to continuously push the boundaries of our own self-development and to engineer innovative solutions that serve the greater good of humanity.
By combining our diverse engineering backgrounds, we aim to tackle the complex challenges of planetary exploration. For the European Rover Challenge 2026, we have focused our collective expertise on creating a highly specialized and reliable rover. Through teamwork, scientific rigor, and a deep-rooted passion for the cosmos, Theon Rover strives to turn theoretical mechanics into practical, mission-ready technology on the ERC Mars Yard.
