Team Odyssey is a student-led rover development team from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru, dedicated to designing and building advanced planetary exploration rovers. The team brings together passionate students from multiple engineering disciplines who collaborate to develop innovative solutions for mobility, autonomy, and scientific exploration in extreme environments. Our rover Skanda is built to simulate real-world planetary missions, integrating robust mechanical systems, intelligent control algorithms, and reliable electronics to navigate challenging terrains and perform exploration tasks. Through hands-on research, teamwork, and continuous learning, we strive to push the boundaries of student-driven space robotics. Team Odyssey actively participates in international rover competitions and technical challenges while fostering innovation in space robotics.
