SU Pioneers is the European Rover Challenge team affiliated with the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom. By participating in this competition, we aim to gain valuable experience and share what we learn to inspire the next generation of engineers.

Our team members have competed in a variety of national robotics competitions and have earned multiple awards in recognition of their performance. Over the past year, our core team members have collaborated with Paradox Labs, a nonprofit organization, to launch open-source Mars rover educational kits aimed at expanding access to education for all.

Furthermore, the team aims to publish a paper on autonomous medical care in space, exploring its potential applications through experiments conducted with the rover developed for this competition. The paper is planned for publication through the International Astronautical Federation at the International Astronautical Congress 2026, pending approval.

With ROVEY (rover) and HALLEY (drone), we are excited to bring our ideas to life, share our journey with others, and begin our first entry into the competition with determination and curiosity.
