For Team Shobolinsky, the European Rover Challenge 2025 isn’t just a competition, it’s a launchpad for the future of robotics. We’ve built battle bots, sumo robots, and championship-winning CanSats (which survived both the elements and the Atlantic), but designing Lunomyss, our ERC rover, has been our biggest challenge yet, and we love it.
Our goal? Learning by doing. We didn’t just want a rover that completes tasks; we wanted something innovative, robust, and unmistakably “Shobolinsky”. A rover that works smart, adapts fast, and maybe even shows off a little.
What sets us apart isn’t just technical skill, it’s our team spirit. From designing autonomous systems to winning second place at an ESA hackathon (despite knowing nothing about ML at the start), we thrive on pushing limits. We take our work seriously, but never ourselves. Whether debugging circuits at 3 AM or recalibrating a sensor last-minute, you’ll find us laughing, embracing the chaos, and turning stress into fuel.
ERC 2025 is just the start. We’re here to learn, build, and bring fresh ideas to robotics, with a touch of Shobolinsky flair.
