[R]overTech is a student team founded in late 2022 by Michele Baroni and Alberto Bellandi, both aerospace engineering students at Politecnico di Milano, who continue to lead it today. It currently has more than 60 active students and numerous external advisors. Additionally, [R]overTech maintains a close collaboration with Polispace, the first space association at Politecnico di Milano. Believing that collaboration is key to success, particularly in the aerospace field, we have chosen to involve another association from our university, AEA, the association of Automation Engineering students, with whom we are building the robotic arm and drone that will be featured on the rover for the competition. Our goal is not only to participate in the European Rover Challenge but also to become a reference point for future generations, not only for what we are trying to create, but also for the interest we seek to foster in research and development carried out by students. We also aim to engage high school students, encouraging them to take initiative and get involved. Additionally, our future goal is to make our research from these years public and free in order to make it accessible to all.
