We are a Mexican team from the Universidad Aeronáutica en Querétaro (UNAQ) that has participated in the NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge (HERC) for 8 years, in that competition we design and manufacture a mechanical rover with electronic components. The rover must be driven by 2 pilots through a circuit that simulates a space exploration. Standing out mainly for its telemetry, which refers to the electronic part implemented in the rover such as the sensing of temperature, AI systems for terrain detection, humidity, heart rate of the pilots, etc. We have reached the Top 3 (2017), Top 10 (2019) y Top 5 (2020) in this category and the team has reached Top 20 in the HERC. That is why we have now decided to venture into this new competition which represents a great challenge in electronic matters which we are eager to face.
