Project Scorpio is an interdisciplinary team of students from Wrocław University of Science and Technology that has been developing and building rovers for 15 years. The aim of the project is not only to compete in international competitions, but also to gain practical engineering experience, implement innovative solutions, and promote Polish technological expertise in the field of space exploration.
The rovers designed by the Scorpio team are distinguished by their modular construction, advanced navigation and control systems, and a high level of autonomy. Students are responsible for designing and building all key components of the vehicle, from mechanical structures to electronic and software systems.
The team also actively cooperates with young people, schools, and scientific institutions, presenting its achievements at fairs, conferences, and popular science events. Through these activities, Project Scorpio inspires future generations to develop interests in space, technology, and engineering. The organization demonstrates how passion, knowledge, and teamwork can lead to the creation of solutions that may one day contribute to real space missions.
