Project RIVER is a team of 12 university students from different specializations with a goal in mind: to develop ourselves and the space domain in the city we study in. We are a young team from Romania, Cluj-Napoca, comprised of 2nd and 1st year students, who aim for greatness in this international competition. Being our first participation in this challenge, in this edition we aim for a solid documentation in order to participate with a physical rover in ERC 2025. We are aware that this is a very challenging contest and this is why we want to take it gradually and make the most out of it! Most of our members are really interested in the space sector and are actively getting involved in projects at ESA, ROSPIN, an NGO aiming to develop the space ecosystem in Romania, Euroavia and many more. One of our main objectives is to gain as many supporters and followers as possible, whether they are students, businesses or public institutions! We follow the motto: space is for everyone, and everyone needs space! In the meantime, we also found a sponsor, CDS (Control Data Systems) which have helped us in building our version of ExoMy, in anticipation for the remote challenge.
