Mars Rover Manipal (MRM) is a student-led team from the Manipal Institute of Technology, comprising 50 undergraduate students from diverse engineering disciplines. Our wide-ranging skills and collaborative spirit empower us to design and develop rover.

Guided by our motto, “Design to Discover,” MRM has consistently earned recognition in prestigious international competitions. Our achievements include securing 1st place in the International Rover Challenge (2025, 2024, and 2018), 1st place in the International Rover Design Challenge (2020), and 2nd place globally in the European Rover Challenge (remote 2022). We also achieved 2nd place in Asia and 8th place worldwide in the University Rover Challenge (2019, 2024), alongside several other notable finishes in global events.
