Mars Rover Manipal is an interdisciplinary student project that aims to explore robotics and its application in interplanetary expeditions.

MRM annually participates in international and national competitions, The University Rover Challenge, European Rover Challenge, International Rover Challenge, International Rover Design Challenge and the International Mars Hackathon, organised by The Mars Society- The United States and South Asia since 2016.
