We are KUNTECH, a team of engineering students from Kazakh-British Technical University (KBTU) passionate about robotics, innovation, and space technologies. Our name reflects our cultural identity, with “Kün” (күн) meaning Sun in Kazakh, symbolizing our ambition to make an impact in technology.
Our mission is to develop KunRover, an autonomous rover designed to compete in the European Rover Challenge and beyond. Our 15-member team brings expertise in electrical and mechanical engineering, computer-aided design, business, and media, working together to create an efficient, high-tech rover with mobility, autonomous navigation, and scientific analysis capabilities.
We have international experience, including participation in the Shell Eco-marathon Asia-Pacific & The Middle East 2025 and internships with companies like Eurasian Resources Group Kazakhstan (ERG). For us, ERC 2025 is both a competition and an opportunity to bring our ideas to life.
