HAL-062 is a multifunctional all-terrain mobile robot, designed to handle challenging tasks. It is built by the KNR Rover Team – a part of the Students’ Robotics Association at the Warsaw University of Technology in Poland. Year after year, the rover is capable of facing increasingly difficult competitions thanks to the tireless efforts of the crew working on its continuous improvement. We are a team of people passionate about robotics and cutting-edge technology, aiming to demonstrate our own vision of space exploration.

The KNR Rover Team was established by a small group in 2017. Today, the legacy is proudly continued by 45 active members, who conduct workshops and participate in numerous science events in the name of expanding knowledge about space and robotics. Over the years, we have gained valuable experience by participating in international competitions – three appearances at the University Rover Challenge USA (2018, 2019, 2025), and six at the European Rover Challenge (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2024, and 2025). During the 2025 European Rover Challenge we won the Probing task during the finals.
