The FHNW Rover Team is a multidisciplinary group of motivated students from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) who share a passion for space technology, robotics, and engineering innovation. Our core team brings together bachelor students from diverse academic backgrounds – including mechanical engineering (4 engieers), computer science (8 engineers), and electrical engineering (4 engineers) – to design and develop advanced rover systems.
To successfully address the science and astrobiology challenges, we are also proud to collaborate with geologists from the University of Bern and biologists from FHNW, strengthening our team with valuable scientific expertise.
Following our victory in 2024 and a 5th place finish in 2025, we are highly motivated to return to the podium this year. With the addition of our own preparation competition at FHNW, the “Roverträff,” we are confident that our team will be better prepared than ever for the challenges ahead.
