EPFL Xplore in three words: ambitious, talented, and relentless. Founded in 2020, Xplore has always strived towards excellency. Last summer, our biggest dream came true: Xplore won the ERC 2025 championship.

Yet, with a new year comes a new championship. Expectations are high and the competition fierce. This season, the team is working tirelessly with the goal of performing well at the ERC once again. To achieve this objective, a brand new rover and drone are being developed. The mechanical systems are getting a major overhaul, the electronics are being upgraded and the autonomous capabilities of both systems are being heavily improved.

As cliché as it sounds, the journey is more important than the destination. Xplore is made up of people who are passionate about what they do and who enjoy working together and learning from one another. More than any result or achievement, the team we have built is something we are truly proud of.

We are looking forward to the challenges ahead and are excited to see what all the other amazing teams have worked on over the past year. May the best team win!
