DIANA, since 2008, aims to bring space robotics applications to Politecnico di Torino by developing and prototyping technology demonstrators of space rovers for astronaut support in future manned missions on other planets. The Team’s main goal is to develop robotic platforms while following the high standards set by space agencies and keeping a close eye on the current industry’s goals and trends .
In 2008 the team was born to send an actual rover to the moon, a lot has changed since then but the goal remains the same, DIANA will keep working towards the space dream

DIANA is proud to be partnered with many companies that support us trough this journey, Thales Alenia Space and Altec gives us technical support with design reviews every year and access to their testing facilities, Vibel gives us support with sheet metal parts, Valispace let us use their software for requirement tracking and ClickUp for team management. Hexagon sponsors us with their full suite of softwares for mechanical analysis and Dewesoft supports us with testing and validation equipment.
