Hello from the BrnoMarsRover team! Coming from Brno, Czech Republic, we are a group of STEM students from Brno University of Technology fascinated by space technologies and robotics in general. We founded our team around a year ago with a simple, yet very challenging goal – to give students a chance to gain practical experience and test their theoretical knowledge. When we learned about the European Rover Challenge, we immediately felt like we had come too late. The 10th-year competition has already started. That’s exactly when, a year ago, we started promoting this idea to our bachelor and master students, searching for those who are, just like us, enthusiastic about technology, robotics and space and want to apply their knowledge to building the competition rover.
In summary, our team currently consists of 17 members. Their expertise is split amongst electrical engineering, software engineering, and mechanical engineering.
