We have extended the deadline for submitting applications to the ERC 2021!
Dear participants, we continue to receive your applications due to the great interest in this year’s European Rover Challenge. We understand that the situation related to the COVID-19 pandemic may have made it difficult for you to submit your reports promptly. That includes the concerns we have received about the extended time required to receive any additional information from your universities. To meet your expectations, the international space and robotics competition jury has reached a unanimous decision.
We have decided to extend the registration deadline to March 15, 2021, at 11:59 p.m.
To register a team to participate in the competition, complete the documents and application form and send it along with the attachments listed in the competition regulations to the following address: teams@roverchallenge.eu
We would also like to thank all the participants who sent in their applications by the first deadline. We believe that the prolonged registration period will make the level of this year’s ERC even higher. Together, we will be able to exchange valuable tips, experience, and support each other in times that are undoubtedly challenging for everyone.
The ERC Space and Robotics Event is the most extensive international robotics and space competition. University teams from around the world build their Martian robots and then take part in competitions similar to the tasks performed by rovers on Mars and the Moon’s surfaces.
Participation in the ERC competition is a unique opportunity for each competitor to improve their competences and present their skills in front of representatives of the world of science and business, the new-tech sector, and the general public. The new, hybrid ERC formula allows all willing teams to participate in the competition, regardless of which place on Earth they are during the event.
All application documents are available in the Competitor’s Zone.
