2023

Description |
We are Team Interplanetar-BUET from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). We founded the Team Interplanetar in 2013 and started designing rover for international competitions. Our goal is to build, design and discover the potentials of a world-class Mars Rover, which will provide a continuous flow of scientific information and perform different operations on the rough Martian terrain. With our research and development, we want to be a pioneer in implementing space technology in the development sectors. Our vision is to make our team one of the best among the Mars rover teams across the globe, to take Bangladesh ahead in Mars Rover Challenges. |

Description |
On-site: “A sense of the unknown has always lured mankind and the greatest of the unknowns of today is outer space. The terrors, the joys and the sense of accomplishment are epitomized in the space program”, with this vision and desire for innovation a group of undergraduate students from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) founded The Team Interplanetar in 2013 and started designing rover for international competitions. Our goal is to build, design, and discover the potentials of a world-class Mars Rover, which will provide a continuous flow of scientific information and perform different operations on the rough Martian terrain. From NASA Lunabotics Competition – 2013 to ERC- 2015, 2019,2020,2021; University Rover Challenge (URC)-2016,2021; Indian Rover Design Challenge (IRDC)-2020 and IPAS-2021-it’s been half a decade since Team Interplanetar has been actively participating in worldwide space- robotic competitions.
Current team-members have the experience of achieving the team 16th position in ERC 2019, 13th position in ERC 2020, 11th position in ERC 2021 Remote Edition, 11th position in Indian Rover Design Challenge (IRDC) 2020. Our team has also achieved Innovation award for designing a revolutionary gas compression system for a Mars arial vehicle in International Planetary Aerial System (IPAS) Challenge 2021. To continue the legacy, we are now proposing our team to take part in ERC – 2022 with our new rover, Renaissance.
Remote: Driving forward with innovation, dedication and hard-work along the aisle of space-robotics, a group of undergraduate students from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) founded Team Interplanetar in 2013 and started rover designing for international competitions. From NASA Lunabotics Competition – 2013 to ERC- 2015, University Rover Challenge (URC)-2016, ERC-2019, Indian Rover Design Challenge (IRDC)-2020, and ERC-2020, it’s been half a decade since Team Interplanetar is actively participating in worldwide space- robotic competitions. Team Interplanetar’s most notable achievement is 5th position in the Phobos Group of URC –2016. Current team-members have the experience of achieving the team 16th position in ERC 2019, 13th position in ERC 2020, 11th position in ERC 2021 remote edition, 11th position in Indian Rover Design Challenge (IRDC) 2020. To continue the legacy, we are now proposing our team to take part in ERC – 2022. |
