- There are two moons around Mars. They are named after mythological sons of Ares and Aphrodite: Phobos and Deimos.
- Mars is the fourth planet in the Solar system. It is located 230 million km from the sun.
- Mars is almost half the size of the Earth and its mass is only 10% of our planet’s mass.
- The sun setting on Mars is blue.
- Currently there are six orbiters, one lander and one rover operating on Mars.
